At UWG INC., we believe the right story, told well, has the power to shape culture and inspire change. But too often, the stories of those at the forefront of cultural innovation—particularly Black, Indigenous, people of color, and LGBTQ+ creators—remain under-told or overlooked. Project Red is our commitment to change that. It’s a creative initiative built to amplify these voices, honor their work, and share their stories with the audiences they deserve.
Kicking off Black History Month, we’re proud to launch Project Red in partnership with Matthew Harris, the Jamaican-born designer behind MATEO New York. A CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist, Matthew’s work has been featured in The New York Times, ELLE Decor, and showcased at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. Together, we helped bring his story to life—celebrating his artistry and the vision that fuels it.
This is just the beginning. Through Project Red, we’re shining a light on cultural storytellers whose creativity, leadership, and purpose continue to shape the future.
